I now have the ability to transfer my tape collection from VHS
to DVD!!
I have some episodes ready to go (more info on that, keep reading).
1 Episode on DVD: $9.00 (price includes shipping), and I will
limit
your first order to one DVD so we can determine that these DVD+R discs
work on your player. Add $.75 per DVD if you want the DVD with a jewel case.
2 or more DVD's will cost $8.00 each. Add $.75 per DVD if you
want the DVD with a jewel case.
Once we have determined that these DVD's will work you can take advantage
of my
"Buying by the Season" specials or order
as many as you want.
HOW DO I GET MST3K DVDS????
First of all, we have to be sure that the DVDs that I produce are compatible
with your DVD player.
They work on my PC, and several DVD players that I have tested, but they did not
work on a friend's
older model Apex. With this fact in mind, you can only order one episode
the first time around...
unless your DVD player is an X-Box or Sony Playstation 2, which I know works great! I use the DVD+R format.

If your DVD player is not on the list, it doesn't necessarily
mean that it won't work. Just pick an episode
that you'd like to get and send me $9.00 via mail or Paypal. Your DVD will
come in a paper/plastic sleeve

How good are These DVD's?
The video and audio sound is quite good, but remember, they are
digital copies of analog masters, so they are only as good as the tape I
recorded
them from. Fortunately, I have some good tapes! The good news is that these
DVDs do not degrade over time like tapes do.
Why Should I get DVD's?
1. Longevity - VHS tapes degrade over time, with an expected life
expectancy
of around 10 years. DVD discs have a life expectancy of 100 years because there
are no move parts and the only thing that actually touches the disc is light.
Every time you play a VHS tape, it gets degraded a little. With DVD's, no more
worrying about your much beloved tapes are degrading!!
2. Space - Let's face it, 170+ MST3K episodes take up some serious
space!
DVD Discs obviously take up much less space.
3. Ease of Use - Even without chapter points, it is easier to find the
point
of a movie you want to see. My episodes will all have chapter points (at least 5 per
movie),
although the first 2 I created only have one. I will eventually go back and
correct those two, but no need to redo them right now.
